Thanks to everyone who came to Dixie at Belk Scout Reservation last weekend. Everyone had lots of fun! There were lots of things to do including patch trading, quest events, training sessions, rock climbing, and indian affairs events. We also had elections for our new section officers. Congratulations to Reed Powell, our new 2015-2016 SR5 Chief. Tsali lodge came home with several awards as always. The indian affairs teams did an amazing job as always. They won 1st place group dance (for the 10th year in a row) and 1st place group drum (for the 9th year in a row), great job guys! The highlight of the weekend was of course continuing the SR5 tradition and throwing Travis Broadhurst, our outgoing section chief, into the lake. Thanks to everyone who worked to make Dixie a huge success for the Lodge!
