Tsali Lodge did very well at Dixie in the category of Indian Affairs.  We have two successful Ceremonies teams, a great group dance team that is off to a great start, and seven great Individual dancers, and there is now talk of a Drum team.  This is quite the opposite of Tsali lodge in recent years past.  Recruiting at the Spring ordeal will be huge, also getting people started and going to CIS will be a major help.

Any talk about these subjects, or any Indian Affairs talk can be done in this Forum.

What do you all think we can do better or have done well that we need to keep doing?

Keep the ball rolling and let it gain momentum!  You seem to have well-established ceremonies teams made, and the dancers we have are also well-established and have at least one competetion under their belts, those who need work know what they need to work on and are currently improving as we speak. Not to mention a well-talked-about group dance team formed as well...thats quite an accomplishment so far.

My advice is now that you have seasoned dancers and principals, try to increase the numbers and interest...we are now at the point that if a boy wants to take up dancing...he has peers who can show him how to get started in at least three of the five styles, we can now establish "senior" dancers helping train and educate newbies alongside the adults...youth interest rubbing off on other youths will hopefully breed more numbers.

Then for those more-ambitious in their indian affairs hobbys or ready to go after a new challenge, introduce them to drumming
