Brothers,

   Summer is deffinatley in full swing. There is so much going on with everyone that we often get causght up and forget that we still have 5 months left in the year. Thats why I have just a few reminders. First off, scoutmasters. Our Summer Ordeal is very quickly approaching. There were several troops that did not participate in the Spring Ordeal. Make sure to get your election reports to be a part of this next ordeal.

   Now on to some good stuff. First off, a huge shout out to our awesome ceremonies team at CDB. After reviewing several Troop comment sheets from the first few weeks of camps, I feel safe saying this is our best year yet with OA Call-outs. We have a great group of scouts, some from other lodges, helping us out each and every wednesday with those ceremonies. If you have not had the amazing privelage of seeing this years event, you should try to fit it in before the summer is out.

   Again, our next event is the Sumer Ordeal which is August 19 - 21. We usually have a good turn-out for this event, but that doesnt mean that we dont need some good support from current Brothers. I encourage you all to participate in one of the last few events of the year.

   I hope that everyone enjoys the last half of their summer. Please keep us all in mind as we will be leaving for the 2005 National Scout Jamboree in the following week. The lodge is very well represented in all three of the Daniel Boone troops. We will all have a great time and just ask that you all keep us in your minds back at home.
